Wild Africa: The Great Migration
KENYA · 10 DAYS · JULY 28 TO AUGUST 6, 2026
Step into the living heart of the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem at the height of the Great Migration, when more than a million wildebeest and zebra thunder across the plains and brave the Mara River. This is Africa at its most cinematic. Lions at dawn, leopards in the amber light of evening, elephants moving like memory across the savannah.
Journey through three of Kenya's most storied wildernesses, each with its own character, and retreat each night to lodges of quiet luxury. Travel is intimate and unhurried, with private safari vehicles and a full row to yourself, so every sighting is yours to savour from either side of the truck.
The Journey
Nairobi
Arrive and warm the senses in Nairobi National Park, the only wildlife reserve set within a capital city, home to black and white rhino.
Samburu National Reserve
Three days in the rugged north, in search of species found nowhere else: the Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, and Somali ostrich. Base: an elegant lodge set into the Samburu landscape.
Maasai Mara
The finale. Days of morning and evening game drives timed to the migration and the great river crossings, then a shift deep into big cat country. Two distinguished camps: a five star lodge in the Mara Triangle, and an intimate bush camp under the stars.
The Maasai
A day among the Maasai, in genuine cultural exchange.
Optional
An extension into Amboseli, in the shadow of Kilimanjaro.
Included
Luxury lodge accommodations, all internal flights and transfers, private photographic safari vehicles with local guides, all meals and filtered water, and expert guidance throughout.
