Refund policy

Tembo stands behind every piece in the collection. If something is not right, the team is here to make it right.

Returns A 14-day return window applies from the date of receipt. To be eligible, apparel and accessories must be unworn, unused, with tags attached, and in their original packaging. Limited-edition books are covered separately below. Proof of purchase is required.

To initiate a return, contact the team at hello@tembocollection.com. A return shipping label and instructions will be provided once the request is accepted. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

Damages & Incorrect Items Please inspect the order upon arrival. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, reach out immediately at hello@tembocollection.com and the issue will be assessed and resolved.

Exchanges The most efficient path to an exchange is to initiate a return on the original item and place a new order once the return is accepted.

Non-Returnable Items Sale items, gift cards, and signed limited-edition books (except as described below) are not eligible for return.

Limited-Edition Books (States of Nature) The States of Nature Field, Studio, and Archive Editions are signed by the artist, and the Studio and Archive Editions are individually numbered. Because each copy is signed, these editions are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged, except if an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect. If that happens, email hello@tembocollection.com within 7 days of delivery with photos and the team will replace the book or refund you.

Pre-Orders You may cancel a pre-order for a full refund at any time before it ships by emailing hello@tembocollection.com. Once a book has shipped, it can no longer be cancelled.

European Union Orders shipped to the European Union are subject to a 14-day cooling-off period. Items may be returned within that window for any reason, provided they are unworn, unused, with tags, and in original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.

Refunds Once a return is received and inspected, a notification will confirm whether the refund has been approved. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days. Processing times may vary by bank or card provider.
